New to the america

I from Kuwait. I move for work to America. I new to this country, but I like. I have question. I recently went on internet and order chinese takeaway. But they only gave me food. Is this misunderstanding?

I think you'll have to be more specific with your order.

You would have to order the drink separate, but I don't believe a lot of Chinese places have drinks available for takeout. That's the way America works; you just need to get your own.

No, you usually either ask for the drink or you have to go the the restaurant itself and get the drink.

No drinks? Hot tea is normally served with Chinese food so it might not be reasonable for takeaway.

In America we have refrigerators. You don’t need store food in the basement.

Servants in America tend to be highly paid professionals, and are unlikely to live in your house.

Few people in America have servants, and you most certainly do not order them from a restaurant.
