Bored and curious about music. So what type(s) of music do you like the best? What types of music are good for certain situations? How much music do you listen to? What do you do while listening to music? Do you use radio, spotify, apple music ect? I wanna know it all!
Lately I've been listening to a lot of bluegrass and folk. I also like swing, country, and some EDM. Sometimes I'll listen to rap, but not as much as other things. A lot of the time I'll just choose random playlists on Spotify so narrowing it down to specific genres is a little difficult, let alone specific bands.
Typically I'll turn on Spotify whenever I'm playing video games or doing stuff around the house, which is pretty much most of my day.
i think in this day & age most people got a healthy varietya music media available and 'i like all music' is more borin than bein a devotee for some certain genre which is still borin
that said mumble rappers and modern popcountry artists should all be put together on an isolated island on the sun forced to fight to the death and then nuked
Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd off the top of my head.
My absolute favorite genres are alternative, new wave, industrial, post punk. My favorite music is from the 70s, 80s, 90s. I love Duran Duran, the Cure, New Order, Joy Division, Siouxsie and the Banshees to name a few.
When it comes to newer music I like Queens of the Stone Age, Lady Gaga, Muse, and Florence and the Machine
I'm not a huge Metallica fan, but technically, and critically they are really great metal; Aerosmith are a great hard rock band.
My first favorite band from when I was a teenager is Duran Duran, and I also really loved that Police back then. I yeah, and I love Depeche Mode!

But those seem to be more calm slow songs. Sometimes slipknot I love. Really digging their newer song Unsainted. I even like some hip hop from like 90’s maybe even some country songs or pop songs but I gotta be in the mood, which don’t happen often at all.
Ye are 21. Stuff I liked as a kid seemed to stick. I remember I used to listen to songs like alcohaulin ass or over and over again by nelly a lot and now when I hear those types of songs idk if its the memories or what but they’re still such good songs. Ik those are prob early 2000’s but still.
pretty much anything before the 60's is a guarantee i'll like it (doo-wop, swing, jazz, shag, big band, classical, etc), any-thing from the 60's & after-words go's down in probability of me liking it with each decade. The most modern music I like is probably Rock'N'Blues. Examples George Thorogood, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Rory Gallagher, Jeff Healey, Marc Reece & Joe Bonamassa
