Let's say you saw a burning home. Inside, there's a puppy and a baby. The house is burning down at a rapid pace (It's a small house) and by the time the firefighters come, both will have died. you can only save one of them. Who would you save?

Human baby. I wouldn't be able to sleep at night either way, but I'd sleep better knowing I let a baby dog die than knowing I let a baby human die.
The puppy... I hate human babies...
Scenarios like this are stupid anyways...
How is this even a question? Any one that would save the puppy instead is deranged.
Difficult. Maybe the baby becomes an evil person? Can't do too much wrong with the puppy, though.
It disturbs me how many people would go for the puppy.

Neither. With action comes consequence. Being a part of the equation effects the outcome. Though in the back of my mind I will be hoping that the puppy made it out somehow.
I would save whomever is furthest from me first and get the other on the way out. I like to think I wouldn't waste precious time pondering the question.
I honestly don't think I can know what I would do until the moment of truth comes.
Puppy obviously. The baby would turn into a serial killer, classic Peter Parker scenario.
These moral dillemas remind me of an amazing short story by Mr.King called Riding The Bullet in the Everything's Eventual collection. I highly recommend it. It raises questions about who you would save if given a choice, thoughts I pondered about far before reading the story.
I have an incredible life. I am not insecure and i enjoy good times with friends and my acting career is looking up. This man has added this comment and, while i wouldn't usually care because everyone is entitled to their own opinion, Jesus has NOTHING to do with this post. Also, there are other religions you know. Allah can save too. So please keep your comments to yourself if they are not relevant.
