I really feel that it should be illegal for people, especially those in higher positions, to abuse captive audiences with verbal diarrhea instead of small, clean nuggets of information. Or some sort of labor law limiting how long someone can talk about one subject. IIN?

When I was younger and had not had a job with meetings yet, I used to think work meetings must be these top secret, informative, important gatherings for important people to exchange ultra-intelligent ideas. Secret service type stuff.

Whenever I am in a business meeting of any kind my eyes glaze over, I can't concentrate and I just zone out. It hurts to pay attention, because it's so boring.
What if some super-duper ass kisser stood up and said, "I wrote a song about what a great place this is to work, I would like to sing it now".
Where i work is at least cool enough to bring food during our department meeting, during which we watch a video talking about what a great company it is. F*** it I do not care, my plate always has my undivided attention.
I agree. Then again sitting around for long periods of time makes me crazy. I need to move around. XD
