I just found out that all the girls at work were talking about male coworkers while having drinks after work. They all told each other they thought I was a man-whore. I have always suspected that many women think this. My question is, from a woman's perspective is this good or bad? Ladies only, please.

People suck. Im not surprised they would say this about someone behind their back... especially in this social climate. Its not a good thing in general to be calling anyone anything behind their back. Looks like they arent even man enough to talk to you about it in person
People like this you dont want to be around anyway. They showed their colors, and they dont mix well with yours.
To some people, a person who has had a LOT of sex partners is considered undesirable. I personally don't believe in that, btw.
It won't have been meant as a compliment. But if they're the sort of people who bitch like that behind someone's back then who cares what they think? They sound awful
Personally I see no problem in it but some women will. A good portion will probably see it as not ok if they are the monogamous type
It’s the double standard that if a man has lots of sex, he is the master key. But if a woman has lots of sex, she is a useless lock. It’s just petty gossip in my opinion.
It probably depends on who is looking at you, as well as what sort if morals, and values the person has. Also there is the ever present matter of whether, or not the person is a hypocrite, or a believer of gossip.
It sounds from your post like those old gals are more just gossips than anything.
I think they were just sharing their intuitive impressions of each guy in the office. Sort of a girl's review of personalities. I heard one other guy got tagged as having a soul of pain. With respect to values, it sounds like some women think a man-whore is neutral or slightly positive. While for other women, any suggestive quality is a dead-on-arrival deal killer.
Note: I am married. Occasionally, women will tell me with a sense of concern that divorce can be a good thing.
