Kid developing british accent

My American child watches british cartoons and I'm noticing hes starting to speak with a british accent. I do not know what to do. I do not want my child to sound like a red-coat and now this has me worried about his dental health. How can I fix this issue and have him talking with an American accent again?

Expose him to REAL British accents such as Mancunian, Scouse, Cockney, Geordie....he'll be cured of his disease soon enough knowing what real Limeys sound like.

Examples - show him a movie called Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels.

  Alreadsy got him a shotgun for his 16th birthday. Same shotgun I got for my 16th birthday and my dad got for his 16th birthday lmao. We will see how long this tradition goes on. If he ponds it for meth hes getting beat.

perhaps put on more american cartoons, ( can't recommend any as im not american) and talk to him more, so he might pick up your family accent
