Well if that person you want to apologize to is dead before you made it in time to say sorry and be forgiven by him/her, then it's too late to say sorry.
It’s never to late to say sorry. But it might be too late for them to accept the apology.
I've had a few times where a co-worker would apologize for something offensive they thought they said to me weeks earlier, that I didn't even remember or didn't interpret as offensive.
No reason to suggest you were personally at fault for their death. Say you were just a shit to them and made them miserable by being a back stabbing all around jerkface. Apologizing to their family is, too little, too late.
I think that as long as the remorse is genuine, it's always valid to apologize. The other person might not want to even hear it, but you'll feel little bit better. Of course, it depends on the context.
I don't think so. If you're genuienly sorry you should say it if you get the chance to. Even if the other person say it's too late they may still appreciate it, and you'll feel better about yourself too.
