Is this a good lesson to teach a student or someone you know?

Basically, my lesson is: “Grow up. The whole world doesn’t just revolve around you dude.”

But, how do I teach them that lesson without just flat out saying it?

    You teach them on a daily basis... when they show such behavior you stop everything, ask them (and all others) to think about it and to put themselves in the others' shoes and have them tell you what they think and how they feel about the situation. Amazing what dialoguing can accomplish.
