I'll never understand why marijuana is illegal while cigarettes and alcohol are both legal and socially normal to use.

It was done because a few people wanted to protect their investments in the paper industry from memory. Hemp was poised to take over.

Some people smoke out of rebellion, not entirely sure about your case but the possibility is, you just don't want any more.

Its just because of bullshit propaganda. It is less harmful than tobacco and alcohol.

A year ago I was a struggling alcoholic and found myself on more than one occasion curled up in the backseat of my car fighting off withdrawal symptoms. One time I could even feel my body begin to shut down so I crawled out of the back seat and forced myself to walk. I might have died otherwise

When I found out my state has legal medicinal cannabis and that I was eligible, I switched to cannabis and have never had a drink since

Good that you found a healthier alternative and its due to time that they make it legal for purchase like any product. Although its not much big of a deal since every second home has it and largely tolerated in israel, with legal medicinal being sold, though tightly regulated. However its legal to possess and use in republic of georgia wherever im having a vacation but less commonly used socially.

That's really cool to know. Visiting Petra is on my bucket list, so I'm glad Georgia is cannabis-friendly

Yes, but acquisition is tricky here, you better off with medical state in the us or the netherlands. I found it easier with weed in israel with massive quantities of dealing going on telegram.

I prefer the feeling of being drunk, but there's no way in hell I'm going back to that. Way too much risk

Yes, weed can give paranoid highs at times but you are not in any life threatening danger or any at all, the effects are temporary and fade away.

They recently fully decriminalized in israel and here on my vacation in republic of georgia it is legal to possess and use at private property so i hope for legal market and home grow permits for a cheaper alternative.

I've tried, like most I guess, in my twenties but I have never been a fond of it and it is definitely not okay that it is banned while tobacco is being freely marketed. But looking back at history it makes sense. It was just to allow other products to take over the market.

In my country most families have at least one member who have been tried for marijuana consumption. It is considered as a dangerous drug and the irony is that the same government is invested in medical cannabis plantation. They would only make it legal once they know exactly how to ensure that only some of them benefit from its cultivation.

    It is absurd.
