At first I thought I was jealous because my ex was talking to my bestfriend but now as my ex says bad stuff about me and my bestfriend isnt talking to me as much, I think I'm not jealous of my ex talking to someone else. I think I'm jealous of losing my friendship to someone else. Is this normal?
That happened to me in high school. The guy I was dating cheated on me with my best friend. I didn’t give a fuck for him. But the loss of my best friend was awful.
I think this is very normal, and I think you shouldn't devote any of your energy to your ex whatsoever. I also think that there is a distinct possibility that your ex might be trying to date your bestfriend. Unfortunately, you are powerless over whether, or not your ex chooses to date your bestfriend. I think that whether, or not your bestfriend chooses to date your ex will probably come down to how loyal your bestfriend is, and whether, or not the bad things about you that your ex is talking about to your bestfriend are true, or not. At the end of the day you're powerless over whether, or not your bestfriend chooses to associate with your ex, or not. We are all powerless over people, places, and things.

It's normal to worry about these things that are causing you to feel jealous, those things don't have to destroy you.
