Is it weird that i start shaking whenever i hear yelling?

Whenever I hear someone yell (it doesn’t even have to be very loud), regardless of what their saying (just as long as it’s in a somewhat unhappy tone) I start shaking (mainly in the hands).

I’m not sure how long I’ve done it for, but it’s made some people a bit concerned about my well-being when I’m fine.

Completely normal if you’re a Chihuahua

Bad experiences and traumas while growing up can cause this.

Yep, I realised that would’ve been it.

You seem to be putting it together. There are therapies that can help you overcome this symptom of PTSD.

Yeah it's normal, just a personal trigger of yours. Could have started from a traumatic experience or nothing at all.

Maybe your just startled and a little more sensitive than the next guy. Or perhaps something in your past like rose said.

Were your parents abusive, or rageful people?

One was, I guess it’s making more sense now...

Did either, or both of your parents abuse drugs, or alcohol?

No, but my dad is angered very easily.
My siblings and I all agree he’s probably got some kind of mental disorder (not meaning that in any offensive way, but he can say some unreasonably harsh things when something fairly minor happens).
