Is it normal to want to rob people/places

I don’t need to I just think it’d make my day more exciting. Plus, free money.
Adrenaline + money is the kinda life i want to live.
Is it normal?

I've had a man break into my place at 8 AM while I was still asleep. I woke up to a very strong manly cologne smell and his walking around. He wore a nice long sleeve horizontally striped green and navy blue shirt - pretty much dressed up for work. When I woke up and asked "The fuck is going on???" we were face-to-face for a couple of seconds and then he ran out. He seemed to have been here for a while and not realize I was in.

As exciting as it may seem it's a shitty 'job'.If you have your heart set on it at least make sure you wear a nicer perfume than his.

I know that's meant to be funny, but it's terrifying.

I would've beat the living shit out of him with the metal baseball bat I keep under my bed.

Yeah...my cousin's husband broke into someone's house when they thought the owners weren't home. He got out of there with a broken arm, busted up face, and got some jail time at the end of it. I still have zero sympathy for him

The problem with being a thief is that they are probably number one on everyone's "most hated" list. Probably more so than rapists or even child molesters.
The reason is because a thief can victimize anyone.

Also, we have all heard and probably thought at one point - "I would love to catch the son of a bitch who stole my..." People have no remorse for those who steal shit.

    • You have a point. I certainly don't think stealing is the worst thing, but my blood automatically boils at the thought of a thief.

In other cases, no matter how bad, I don't feel as personally riled.

I had a dream last night where some woman and a guy came in, and stole my GameCube and stuff. I felt so violated and irate that I was going to stab the woman, but the guy had a gun.

I hate thieving scum. I also have a gun and I wouldn't think for a moment before shooting a thief, or at least smashing his face in! Make your own damn money!

Not normal. If you want adrenaline, go do mountain biking, or rafting, or whatever... There are better ways to get a rush that don't involve broken limbs and jail time.

Yes, its just as normal as someone blowing your head off one day.

It is a rush, but the consequences outweigh the rewards.
    sooner, or later.

I just had an idea for you! You said you don't need to do it. So now that that's settled you could actually break into people's homes and do really nice things for them, like fix something that is broken, do their laundry and fold the clothes, make the beds, declutter, leave cute notes, etc. I just wouldn't say cook for them because that might be a waste of time and food, it'll probably end up in the trash or a lab for analysis.

First off, so you want to be a "bad ass" with a gun? A "thug" a punk bitch. You know anybody can pull a trigger, why can't you be a bigger person and make your own way in life and not shooting for the quick buck. And rw remember somewhere in those businesses will be a business owner tired of getting ribbed. He will have a CCW permit and will probably shoot your dumb ass dead.

Years ago a gun store owner in my hometown wanted to get a law passed to make in law that every household have a gun. So then if that was the case what house would you choose to rob. Probably none. What a fucking moron if you choose that life. Make sure you have your affairs in order (i.e.yourWill, car parked legally so it's not towed) lil. Talked to people in or who have been in prison. You WILL BE SOMEONES BITCH.

As a right-wing supporter, I want you to go straight to prison the moment you break the law.

That's what a friend of mine actually does. Yes, it is an exciting lifestyle but it is neither worth the risk being imprisoned for life (he did also do lots of other wrongdoings because he became kind of addicted to the excitement) nor the risk of dying (yes, that's what he should fear by now).
I suppose you are still young and "wild". I would not go for the serious crimes but you could try something else that you enjoy.
It's normal but not profitable to think this way unless we begin to live in an apocalyptic world or you're a pro-thief.

I saw a British documentary about people addicted to fraud and home invasion for the rush.

They all ended up in jail and one dead. Bad career choice.

I would not call this normal but it's more exiting and fun for the short time it will last until the police kills you or some rival does.

  • I especially wouldn't recommend it if you live in areas like TX or Oklahoma. I strongly support the shooting of home intruders, and plan to get a gun myself.

    • Nah dude im like thousands of miles off from those places. here only 8 people died from guns in 2013 and less p much each year since. Have fun with your guns, my man!

It is indeed a funny story but it could've easily gone south - I had no idea what was going on and still half-asleep so I didn't even feel scared, just outraged! :D Guess I got lucky.

Oct 2016. The babies were already gone! While she is still little, he got much bigger than expected and needed more space. I wanted to keep her here but I simply couldn't bear to separate the two, they're besties! So now they are both being raised by their grandparents. :/
