Is it normal to "talk" to deer?

So I love deer, I go out to track them twice or more a day and when I find them, I sit in hiding where I can see them and take pictures, and "talk" to them, don't know what I mean? I've practiced for months to perfect all the deer calls that mule deer use, I make them with my mouth, not a man-made deer call you can buy in stores, is this normal..?

    I think what you are doing is pretty cool, but it's probably not good if the deer lose their natural fear of human beings.

      I always worry about psycho neighbors when interacting with squirrels, birds, outdoor cats, raccoons and other wildlife in my yard. I hope they can distinguish good humans from bad humans.

        Humanity has a lot to learn. I love connecting with animals and talking to them just how you speak to a cat or dog. They understand you they are able to feel the vibes you give off.

    I wish there was a "that's beautiful!" option. I've seen deer in my backyard before, they'd stand in the fringes-and if I listened closely, I'd hear the soft sound of one crunching on the leaves.

    I talked to one last night... or tried in the second or two it that it took to hit it with my car once I saw it coming out of the ditch. I've actually got a great webcam video of the hit.

    I'm OK. It was a small deer exclusively on my bumper and my car has minor damage which is easily fixable (the license plate frame and license plate is bent up like a pretzel).

    The previous deer hit over 15 years ago totaled my car. The one before that did thousands of dollars damage - and was fixed. The one before that only minor damage. 4 deer hits in 45 years of driving in deer country. I've done well.

    Talking to the deer at the times did not help...

    Eh. It sounds like an okay hobby, even if a really niche one. It's really cool that you can do a deer call without an instrument though, that could be a funny party trick.
