Is it normal to rub and pull strong cotton in-between your fingers?

I have always rubbed and pulled cotton fabric in-between my fingers for as long as I can remember. For me, the stronger the fabric, the better. Also it could be freshly washed and perfectly dried...the sun-kissed ones are better, but it could be freshly out of the drier, works just fine for me!

I like to rub and squeeze cotton towels, the folded seams of denim fabric, cotton napkins and "strong" cotton sheets...I often see people commenting on how they love the feel of satin and silk but for me, satin and silk fabric makes me wanna pull my hair out! Different strokes for different folks, I guess!

I also often suck on my tongue to go along with it, although I can do one without the other...also, I rub cotton fabric in-between my toes, the crook of my elbow and sometimes I like the feel of the tip of fabric in the corners of my eyes.

Like I said, I have been doing this for as long as I can remember, my hubby and kids know this, but don't mind...I can go days without it, and I think it comforts me when I feel stressed or really tired, most times I honestly don't need it to help me fall asleep.

I wasn't traumatized as a child neither am I autistic nor addicted to drugs...I just can't help wondering if in fact, this type of behaviour is really normal, and if there's any one out there with this typa thing?

I am also unsure what tags to use for this post, hehe.

Sounds like bacterial vaginitis, you can buy boric acid suppositories on Amazon to help treat it

Yes it's normal, and you might be autistic since you gave yourself that diagnosis without seeing a doctor.

On the other hand I think fiddling with things and rubbing them between your toes is autistic, autistic people are curious and like sights, tastes, sounds, colours, and textures, so yes you're doing fine, it's not a problem if you don't let it be.
