Is it normal to really hate talking on the phone?
I know that sounds weird and all but I just really hate talking on the phone. I really just like texting or even something else. I get all clammed up on the phone. Is this normal?

I'm the same way. I think it's normal. I'm actually like scared to talk on the phone.
Yeah I don't like talking on the phone because for me it's so awkward at the end when your like, "um, ok sooo bye."
I agree. When you're talking on the phone, you have to say something right away or there's a long awkward silence. If you are emailing or texting you have time to think of what you're going to say. If you don't respond right away, they'll just think that you were gone somewhere.
If I could uninvent something it would be the phone. I only talk on the phone when necessary. Otherwise I hate talking on the phone. To me being forced to talk on the phone is like I'm being punished with a whip...lol.
Im the same way...
I think its cause you can totally avoid thoes uncomfortable silent moments when you're texting. And its easier to get to the point with out all the "shit-chat" like you normally have to go through during a phone conversation.
Not to mention, if you have kids, you don't have to worry about them being to loud or noisey in the background. So totally normal...in my opinion anyway.
I hate them too - after spending hours on the phone at work, it's the last thing I want to do at home.
I work at a call centre, so I REALLY hate talking on the phone, especially after I've worked all day!
So.Not.Normal is right. But at te same time it's probably not a good thing. People should be able to communicate outside of texting or Internet. I get like u sometimes whereni don't wanna talk on the phone. But itjjnk it's good to do it because u heartheir voice and emotions. It's let's u know what they actually mean. I feel like it could make binds stronger...idk
