Is it normal to miss your kids all day?

Is it normal to be at work while your kids are at school and miss them and look at pics of them and just think of all this fun stuff you wanna do or just spend quality time with them, but as soon as I pick them up from day care and we get home, that feeling goes away and I just want to chill out by myself and do my own thing. Not be bothered. I mean I love them more when they're gone it seems. I think this is normal.?

Totally normal! It's easy to "glamorize" (for lack of a better word) the idea of being a parent, much harder when it's in your face. Just don't let it overrun your time with them. Take an hour or so to yourself when u get home and then do all the fab family stuff you thought about while u wereat work. Even if u can do just one fun thing a day, or make dinner a good time, they will remember that forever. Of course it depends on how receptive your kids are to family stuff and also how well behaved they are. No offense, I'm a parent too, but if the kids are ,ummm, difficult, it's going to b very hard to enjoy them.
