Is it normal to make homemade kfc meals without the corporate yum brand?

If you want to make homemade KFC meals without the corporate Yum brands and make them like how Colonel Sanders used to make them when he was still around, and like how he originally intended his meals to taste how he wanted them to taste.

I'm really more of a Popeye's Fried Chicken sort of person.

Can you give us the recipe? I would love to have it. By the way there is a new chicken sandwich with glazed doughnuts for bread. I would love to try it.

My friend has an air fryer and used a copycat Chick fil A recipe with pickle juice and powdered sugar. Turned out good.

    Go for it.
Have you ever played a PC video game called I love You, Colonal Sanders? I came across it on Steam a few months ago, and it was the weirdest dating sim game I ever played, XD

Absolutely!! And healthier too. And you're probably less likely to get food poisoning eating something you've lovingly made yourself, than eating something that has been mass-produced in an industrial-sized kitchen that's hard to clean, on the basis of 'time is money'.

    P.s. What's your recipe?

Totally normal to want to have good home cooked fried chicken.

Unfortunately, most people these days have never learned how to cook it. I suggest going to a used book store and buy some of the older cookbooks. While they may not have all 7 "secret herbs and spices" and in the precise quantity that the Colonel used; these cookbooks will provide enough spice information to provide very tasty fried chicken.

The other "secret" of the old Colonel was that he fried the chicken in a pressure cooker. This really was not a secret to the professional restaurant chef. But, it does change the texture and crunch of the battered coating and skin.

Used pressure cookers are also somewhat easy to find...

This may all take a couple batches to get it all down pat... and it is well worth it.

When you are done... can you post how good it smells and tastes...
