Is it normal to laugh at death but have remorse?

I laugh at death but I see my soft side as also feeling sorry for them. But obviously I don't laugh near people. Yes I know it is messed up to laugh at death but my soft side is more of actually showing grieving.

    I think its a coping mechanism for some people to laugh at tradgedies, it doesn't neccesarilly mean you find it funny.
