Is it normal to have made up extremely developed characters?

In 2015 I was addicted to some game where you could talk to people and I don't know why but I COMPLETELY lied about myself. Name, hair, eyes, age, personality, and everything else were changed so the person I was on there was not me in the slightest.I even made a friend for her too. I made friends on there and by the end of 2017 things started slowing down and I pretty much quit. In the time that I went on that game the person that I pretended was me and her friend developed so much that now if you told someone about them you'd have enough information to convince them that they're real. It's not like an unhealthy obsession with 2 made up people but I created so much about them when I was on there that they literally have relatives with their made up personalities too. I hate that I did this and I wish I never did.

Sorry if this was really long

No I think that this is fine as long as you know that these two characters are not real. I'm an author so I have a lot of made-up characters in my head. Maybe you could write a story about them someday. I understand where you're coming from :)
