Is it normal to have had eye floaters from the age of 12?

I have had eye floaters since the age of 12 and my mother always told me that it was okay but now it has gotten worse. Is it normal to have had floaters for this long or to have gotten them that young?

    Yeah i have that too and it started at about 10-11 years old. But at 36 years old my eye doctor told me that it's something she could do something about only when it starts, like she could do something to not make it worse.but that's it, u gotta go check in now

    I found this site Bc I was googling the sparkles in my eyes. I’ve always had a shitload of floaters too. I look crazy Bc I’m always swatting at shit that’s just in my eyes. Lol
