I've always had a thing for human/animal hentai and it has progressed into me having an alternate fursona. Most evenings I will become a sissy kitty and lock myself in chastity and put on my cat ears and tail plug, when I do this I am in absolute heaven and easily the happiest I have been all day. Should I be ashamed of my alternate sissy kitty fursona?
The way I see it is : as long as the fetish doesn't involve permanently damaging a person, it's fine. You do you. XD
I'll lump in having a fursona with having a mental disorder. You are human no amount of bullshit fur suits is going to change it. So yes, yes you should be ashamed.

As long as what you're doing is not a deep seated disassociation from reality or maladaptive coping mechanism? You're just being you.

I had an ex that was really into superhero stuff. So I would sometimes joke about that by claiming my alternate persona is Megadriver man! The man with the power to drive vehicles!
My signature move was to drive her somewhere and when she gets out, I open the window and shout from the top of my lungs "Megadriver man away!", floor it and leave in a flurry of wheelspin XD
