Is it normal to hate soup?
I completely understand why soup exists. Evolutionarily, soup is one of the most effective ways of both cooking your food and containing its nutrients in a digestible form. There is no question that soup is one of the most important foods of all time, especially given how economically viable it can be to make for yourself.
However, I personally find it absolutely repulsive.
I can't stand to see a perfectly good cut of pork, chicken, beef or even a vegetable be ruined by the addition of boiling water. I don't care if the flavor of the soup's ingredients will still be present in the broth. The food scraps in the soup will be soggy, flaccid and disgusting.
