Is it normal to hate certain cartoons?

I hate some cartoons but if I'm honest one of them I legit hate is Salad Fingers, mostly because for one he is super creepy looking and second of all it looks kinda as if it were animated using Adobe Flash. That's just my opinion.

I can list other ones that I hate, one of them being Uncle Grandpa, Sanjay And Craig and Coconut Fred.

Coconut Fred because it is a Spongebob ripoff and Sanjay and Craig being a Regular Show ripoff hence why I hate them.

    Wow, that's a blast from the past.
    Salad Fingers WAS animated in Flash. It's super old.

    But yeah, normal. Some cartoons just rub you the wrong way. The worst offenders tend to be the ones where you hate the main character, but sometimes it's an annoying supporting character that has too much screen time.

    I hate cartoons, and Salad Fingers is the only exception. But the landscape feels throttling.

      Spongebob got a little mid over the years kinda the same way with Fairly OddParents.

    I actually used to love South Park as a kid, but more recently I disagreed with some of the things they said in a couple of episodes so it soured my perception of it. :(

    I'm willing to bet you are just saying you hate Salad fingers because you've seen me post on here that I have a crush on him. And I've never found him creepy, I have always found him oddly adorable and very endearing.
    And fyi it WAS animated using Adobe flash.

      Actually, no I had a friend I knew personally who recommended me to watch it and gave one of the videos on YouTube a watch, I felt that Salad Fingers wasn't for me, for me it was something off putting about him. Most of the times or sometimes there's a cartoon that isn't for some people, however I am never forced to like it nor do I wish to dwell on it.

      I just try to go find a cartoon that I vibe with, this isn't a personal attack nor do I have anything against people who like the said cartoon.

      However, me not liking something hasn't got anything to do with me seeing you post about you crushing on a fictional character.

        It just seems a bit coincidental, and btw I do have a crush on Salad fingers, and I even did when I was like 11 and first watched it.

    Meh, normal. Some things aren't to everyone's taste. I like Scooby Doo, but I didn't enjoy some of the Direct To Video movies, the live action movies, or the recent reboot.
