Is it normal to get a runny nose when you eat spicy food?

I am starting to like spicy food (like Indian, Asian food ...etc)
But whenever I eat it, it makes my nose run a bit.
Like, today I was eating some manchurian noodles, and it made my nose run a bit.
It happened when I ate Korean bbq, too.
Can anyone else relate to this?

It happens to me though I'm one of those people who can handle spicy things, sometimes extremely spicy stuff.

It's not normal for anything to give you a runny nose, I get a runny nose whenever I eat something very hot and spicy. And afterwards drinking coffee it has a hot peppery taste diminished from drinking coffee. Furthermore a 180,000 scoville unit chilli sauce is of that very nature.

Yes, this is why it's my favorite to eat when I have a head cold or allergies! I made a great Cajun pasta just for that reason not too long ago. That and Cheddar Jalapeño Cheetos worked like a charm!
