Is it normal to feel uncomfortable when

*question is in the comments*
I'm going to write it in the comments because for some reason Is it normal is shadowbanning my post even though I have said literally nothing wrong, and yet there are people on here who write even way worse things that get approved.

  • Is it normal that I feel uncomfortable when kids kiss in moies and tv shows?
In all the movies and shows I have watched recently, there is always some kind of teen romance thing: In Stranger things, Cobra Kai, The watcher, Nightmare on Elm street. I find it cringey and creepy enough that these producers make these grown people pretend to be teenagers and make them have a sex scene or kissing scene when the characters are supposed to be like, 15.
But it's worse with shows like Stranger things, Casper and that movie with the kid who gets stung by the bees and wears glasses (icr the name right now but you know the one.) Me and my mum and sister are watching Stranger things recently and the fact there are literal children on screen kissing and making out makes me feel really uncomfortable and grossed out to the point that I have to leave the room, and I can't watch it. Is it normal to be really put off by this? I like the show OTHER than that, but that one thing is preventing me from being able to enjoy the show.

Hollywood's been trying to sexualize children for decades, and it's only just now catching on because people are sick fucks and tolerance for sick fuckery is on the rise. Shortly after the 2nd season of Stranger Things came out, I saw articles lauding Millie Bobby Brown (who was 14 as the time) as the "sexiest [actor] streaming"

Really? I feel weird watching two children kiss but I feel disgusted and angry when adults are describing children as the sexiest things on streaming. Adults are supposed to protect children, not try to convince each other of how sexy and presumably fuckable they are

I figured it was. But it's not like you find children sexually appealing or say things that try to encourage other people to view children that way

    When kids kiss
    Somethings amiss
    Like telling a fib
    And not getting in trouble
    For it
