Is it normal to experiment with diets?

This diet I had for weeks, brown rice, quinoa, peanut butter with banana on crackers, etc, which my mother is funny with, is too much!!! It's pretty extreme! I was thinking my next diet is gluten-free beegan (which is cheating veganism with honey). What I don't want if I follow this diet: I don't want to eat bread, cakes, cookies and biscuits, and I don't want to eat puffed wheat again, but if I don't change my diet, I'm stuck with this unreasonable diet and the Subway diet, well it's too much! It tries to be reasonable with healthy food, and not even dessert, lollies and sweets, I lost 4 kg of weight and am now 82 kg. I'm thinking of this gluten-free for a day, I'm getting tired of eating and it's giving me a headache! Is that normal?

    "Beegan"?

    I've never heard of that before, and I suppose I should have, since I'm a beekeeper. (BTW, the vegan stance on the evils of beekeeping is absurdly ill-informed.)

    Stop screwing around with extreme fad diets based on the ridiculous claims of people who have no real understanding of human nutrition and physiology. These people are just looking for page views or their moment of faux internet fame.

    Obsessing about your diet can be just as unhealthy as constantly stuffing anything that's within reach in your gob. Everything in moderation is a good rule in many things, including what you eat.

      My obsession will stop once I stop talking about exciting new diets and put the food in my mouth, right now. But that would have to mean throwing some of my food away and going shopping to buy new beegan gluten-free soy-free foods (I didn't say that before but I think I need to avoid chocolate, certain chips and biscuits because they contain soy). And I like sweet foods, so the occasional soy-free gluten-free vegan chocolate wouldn't be out of the question.

    It would be healthier to come up with a more relaxed healthy diet than to hop from fad diet to fad diet. Why gluten free if you don't have a gluten allergy; you know there are still gluten free vegan cookies and cakes that would make you fat right? Especially if you're eating honey? If you feel compelled to make up arbitrary rules about eating then you might want to ask a doctor or a therapist about orthorexia.

      I'm going gluten-free without a gluten allergy to promote my "wheat is evil" campaign. And I'm trying to cherry-pick health foods and foods I like, also this is a more relaxed, healthy diet (gluten-free, soy-free vegan), it's not a fad! In fact it's more normal than a regular vegan diet, and by the way I'm throwing in what the teacher taught me: honey is particularly good for you, so I'll be also eating honey. :)

        You can eat wheat products without eating gluten, and honey isn't vegan. The series of diets you're going through comes off as a bunch of scatterbrained nonsense.

        That's right, because now I know what's right for me and hopefully when Dad wants to buy me stuff it's in line with my diet. I'm trying to have selective eating disorder, I think it's working. The reason you can't reason with me is that I know I'm right, I've been logical before but no one can be reasoned with. So I know what's true, but no one thinks it's good just because it differs from a normal meat and potatoes diet, people with veganism should say "that's good!", but it's not going to happen!

    I think everyone should experiment with diet if they havent found what works for their body. If youre unhealthy now, you are already doing somehting wrong, so why not try something thats just MAYBE wrong and maybe just right. If you found what keeps you healthy and feeling well in your day to day life, you should stick with it. But you dont have to be fanatical, some unhealthy food are fine as long as its not in the majority and you do get what you need

    It is well established that if you are looking to slim down, to trim body fat, you need to eat less calories coming from refined carbohydrates.
    That's flour products, sugar and drinks with sugar in them, like that.
    It will also reduce your cravings.
    Other than that all you have to do is eat vegetables and protein.

      Thank you, it takes spending even more money to change your diet, I'm leaving the rest of the food at Mum's house, despite her arguing of the contrary. She doesn't agree with it, but in my shopping today this Sunday is: unsweetened cashew milk, rice milk, chocolate almond milk, pulse pasta, sliced mushrooms, shallots, dried dill tops, & gluten-free self-raising flour, all of which is soy-free, gluten-free and vegan and I got this all from Drake Foodland Salisbury North, my mother said, in a funny sort of way, "I agree, I'm not allowed to argue!", probably because she's afraid I'll keep eating and doing my shopping like that, and she said "cook it at your house tonight" and I said, "I'll cook it when I get wine, and I'll also be buying Nuttelex" and she said "I don't care!", so in this funny way my diet is her doom! And by the way I'm mentioning a gluten-free, soy-free vegan mushroom stroganoff which I'll be cooking with most of those groceries and more.

      There's no way I'm eating simple foods like the Amish. It's not eating wisely, or sagely, and it's the diet of country folk, or a similar diet. The Amish diet is a diet of simple traditional foods such as Amish corn cakes, and I'm very much pro-technology. :)
