Is it normal to envy women?

I really envy women because they have lots of different types of clothes, they can wear their hair as they like and wear makeup without being judged. They can also express their feelings towards men (or other women), like, hugging them, stroking their hair, touching them publicly in general. I don't quite like being a man, but I'm not trans either. Anyway, I just want to know your opinion on this.

Straight men tend to be emotionally stunted, creatively stifled and controlled by very narrow ideas about what a man should be. Its pretty sad really because we are all emotional creative beings. Gay men dont have the same confines. Thats why the song says "free, gay and happy". When youre gay you dont have any fucks to give.

    Swings and roundabouts.

Men have advantages too: no childbirth, no periods, fewer abdominal cramps (if you get abdominal cramps as a guy you know you need to see a doctor, if you're a woman it could just be your time of the month), hormonal patterns don't change, we don't have to worry about the prospect of going out by ourselves of an evening and being raped by some pervert in a back alley etc etc...

But it's completely normal to envy the opposite sex for the things that our gender can't do.

  • Women like to whinge about equal rights, child birth and how hard they have it. Truth be told they have it easier then men! Let me summarize..

    1. A women can be with a man, not work, bring in no income and this would be fine, actually quiet normal. Imagine how much shit a man would cop being with a women while she worked and he stayed at home bringing in no income, instead of being a ""homemaker, he would be a LOSER.

    2. Women have million times more understanding for mental illness. Women has a break down and its all gift cards, roses and "such a horrible thing you are going through". Man has a break down and its "stop being a pussy".

    3. Women can get laid so much easier then men.. enough said on that.

    4. Women can hit men and its usually laughed at. Man hits a women and its one of the worst things imaginable.

    5. similar to above. A women can be verbally abusive to a man and no one cares, a man says verbally abusive things to a women and all of a sudden you have people jumping in saying "don't call her that" and people calling police, bla bla.

    6. You women can control men with your pussy, example; Female - "honey, help me with the house chores and we can fool around later" dudes never cleaned so fast in his life. Now lets turn that around, male - "hay babe, help me put this oil filter on the car and ill let ya fuck me" just doesn't work for men, shes like na, I'm just gonna finish reading my book.

    7. Y'all ever have to use a mens toilet! enough said.

    8. First jobs, you know like the first job one gets, like when ya still in school or college, jobs like at a stupid market or mcdonalds.. chicks get them jobs easier.

    9. Getting horny! Women just get a little wet, us men get a throbbing boner, ya know how embarrassing that is when it happens in public

    10. similar to 9. Women never have to worry about getting or losing an erection. Enough said

    11. Lesbians are way more accepted then queers. enough said

    12. Women are so much more better looking then men.

    12. Most women, when they orgasm they don't make a mess, all men make a horrible white mess that we gotta clean up.

    12. Women stress men out, so we don't live as long as women.

    13. Y'all don't think men want to color over that grey spot.

    14. Having a night out on the town is a lot cheaper for women! 2 reasons, you get shouted and your tolerance is lower then men.

    15. It's proven that women do not feel pain as much as men.

    16. Women don't gotta worry about the cold when getting caught naked.

Man there is millions more but y'all dig what I say.

Very interesting list, you bring up some extremely important points. Some of the stuff I disagree with you though are:

2 - I doubt anyone would say or think that, if they do it would be very strange and archaic. Mental illness is seen as serious nowadays

6 - Those losers choose to be controlled like that. If I had a girlfriend that tried to blackmail me with sex, withholding sex from me unless I did things for her, I'd dump her outright

7 - I'd say it'd be worse for women since they have to sit down

8 - I didn't know about this but I guess I could see it happening, young girls are prettier and they'd probably attract more customers

      12.3 - That's just stupid sexism

13 - I'm not sure what you mean by this, are you talking about grey hair? Women get grey hair too

14 - What does "you get shouted" mean? Otherwise I guess the lower intolerance could be seen as a plus. It could also be seen as a negative too though, they might not be able to last as long

      15 - I've heard the exact opposite

Everything else I agree with though, particularly them getting laid easily and being able to hit men with no repurcussions.

Some more better points would be:
      (1) The fact that it's not only acceptable, but apparently funny, to mock men for their body but not women (ie. small penis vs. small tits)
      (2) The response to a guy being abused by his girlfriend would just be to "man up" (but then if he so much as touches her to defend himself then he's apparently a scumbag)
      (3) More boys are bullied (at least physically)
      (5) More men are instituted into gangs and end up in prison
      (6) While men aren't raped as much as women, men's prisons are basically just rape hostels
      (7) There's a bigger stigma around men getting raped than women
      (9) A woman can rape a man and get pregnant and he still has to pay child support
      (10) Men have no say in whether the woman gets an abortion
      (11) Male contraceptives are more uncomfortable
      (12) Male pattern baldness

      Hahahaha, this! You're on point!

Number 6 especially true for me. I've tried it... She has used sex to make me pick her up from somewhere, or even try yoga with her (I was terrible at yoga). Anyway, told my girlfriend if she helps me with bleeding the brake system in my E24, when I was back in Bulgaria for Easter, I'd do some things to her later and she just said "Ugh", curled up in front of the TV with a blanket (At 26C) and continued to binge watch mindless series and I ended up calling my best friend over to help, but we got no work done, cause the bastard brought Spirytus for us to drink. We were drunk before we got anything done.

My girlfriend proceeded to laugh at us for drinking something that's basically rocket fuel. 95 percent alcohol. After the massive headache I had the next day, I threw away the remaining Spirytus.

Moral - Don't rely on your girlfriend for car work, cause your crazy best friend will show up and get you drunk on rocket fuel and you'll learn a new definition of pain XD

HA HA HA! You have NO IDEA what's it's like being a woman! We can wear what we want, but we're being judged by our appearance. Hell some women are forced to dress a certain way due to cultural or by their religion.

When it comes to makeup, apparently less is more for attracting a mate. However some women like to cake their makeup on their face.

Honestly for me, I'm more of a masculine female.

First, I don't get offended by others opinions by my fashion sense. Next, I hardly wear any makeup due to my sensitive skin. Finally, I like to compliment dudes, but hardly other women. Moreover, when a dude compliments me, I thank them with a smile. However when another woman says something nice about me, I get awkward and just say thanks.

You might just be a feminine male, like how I'm a masculine female

YEAHH im actually a VERY feminine guy, and i sometimes get confused by a woman. I already was harassed, and I have experienced a lot of sexism and homophobia. Also, I hate men's fashion, but I'm too shy to go over to the women's section, and none of the things i like look good on me (i just love dresses and skirts ugh why are they so pretty). Finally, people (99,9% of the time, men) won't let me hug them or things that are like so basic which they do with my women friends all the time and i get super angry liKE I JUST WANT LOVEEAA A A A AH

I don't mind it if I have a quick hug with my best friends when we greet each other, or in an emotional moment, or if a girl even throws her self and gives me one of those neck-hanger hugs. That's fine.
Girls can hug and sob and do whatever they want as long as they want.

But if a guy gave me a hug that lasted more than it should, I would definitely push back and speak up.

We ain't girls in kindergarten bro, act right.

I think it's normal! I envy men in ways too, especially the fact that they don't have periods. Those absolutely suck. I also envy that they're not expected to wear makeup (I prefer to go without, but it's seen as "unprofessional" in my work environment), and that their clothes seem more comfortable and generally more well made. I hate that thin, clingy, hot material that women's shirts are made of and the fact that they wear out so quickly. Men's tennis shoes are so much more comfortable and fit me better than women's as well, but I've also gotten backlash about wearing them as well (not as dress shoes or anything, but for exercising in, running to the store, etc.). I envy how relaxed their friendships are as well and tend to click better with men than women most of the time. They seem less uptight and competitive, and more laid back and able to just relax and have fun with each other. There are several things I'm not wild about when it comes to being a girl sometimes as well.

Also, I'm not sure why it's not as socially acceptable for men to show their feelings and hug, etc. I honestly wish they did it more. My lifelong best friend is a guy and I LOVE hugs and hair stroking/playing from him. I can tell he feels weird about expressing his emotions sometimes and says he feels like he shouldn't feel a certain way because men aren't supposed to or "it's stupid for me to feel this way" or whatever, but I try to encourage him to express his emotions because I think it's important for everyone to, regardless of sex.

I just want to say that, indeed, men relationships tend to be more laid back, but (from what i have experienced) it is only between straight guys. I'm bi and affeminate, and my straight classmates treat me like trash. HOWEVER, my relationships with women are absolutely amazing, and all of the women in my classroom get along very well :)

You envy us over make-up and clothes? For real? You do know Drag Queens are way more accepted and get paid so much more than any female stripper or prostitute and are given a lot more respect.

Your downfall is a lack of confidence. Men can do just about anything if they have enough confidence and strength to fight off and gain other men's respect; because the true issue is other men and their beliefs, women will talk, but other men will actually try to fight/rape/or kill you over what they think is right. If you want to wear make-up, then be strong and go wear some.

And even if "both" was true, it wouldn't be in the same time periods. They can't be so beloved/valued as to be paid more than prostitutes and strippers (I still don't know what for), and also run credible risks of being assaulted at the same time in the same society. Also, you sound like you don't have the faintest idea how much money hookers and strippers can make.
