So I have long had a problem with OCD and anxiety and have tried really hard to not seek out answers on the internet because frankly, I am terrified of being considered a freak.

Since I was first going through puberty I have masturebated frequently since then. For the last year or so I have been particularly drawn to transsexual hentai and BDSM style anime porns. I am conflicted because I feel like this makes me a freak, but at the same time I dont understand why I feel this way because I know that fetishes are normal. I am a 20 year old male. I desperatly want to curb my anxiety regarding this topic, so is it normal?

      Hentai is Japanese drawn porn, its meant for adults. So please, don't watch or read hentai with your little brother or sister, unless you want them asking mommy and daddy some awkward questions and end up with traumatized parents.

      Anime is the normal Japanese cartoons. Manga is the safe illustrated comics. Also, animation does not have as much of a "age ghetto" as Western cartoons. Of course, if you were watching something like "Hamtaro", or "Pokemon", which is meant for a younger audience, you may get a few snickers.

      "Seinen" in particular is meant for the older crowd, with the violence and adult situations.

      To op: yes, it is normal for an adult to be enjoying Hentai, its porn, its 18+, it would be less normal if you were 13 and doing it, but some kids grow faster than others (and find out porn sooner!) So.....
