i enjoy people explaining stuff to me even though im not listening. just the thought someones speaking while i daydream relaxes me and makes me feel tingly.

Sounds like ASMR. It is an undiagnosed sensation that many people seem to have and are showing up more and more often online. I haven't met anyone face to face that gets this tingly sensation but there is a group of us building on Facebook. The group is called Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response (aka ASMR) and it was created so that people could share their experiences and so that, with a little elbow grease, we might get some scientific interest generated to get this interesting feeling officially studied.

Just don't do it at school (if you are that age). But if you work then that's good workmanship especially when the boss is talking.
