i don't mean like rock music, i'm on about the loudest, ear bursting music with headphones on at full volume, is that normal?

    It's normal, but please try to avoid doing it for long periods of time. Let your ears have breaks from loud headphones, and wear earplugs around loud sounds.

    Sincerely, somebody with damaged hearing from constantly listening to music on blast in my headphones.

    Same for me with speakers. I just don't do it all the time so I keep my hearing
