Is it normal to eat pasta with ketchup?

Ketchup on pasta? Sure. Why not? A lot of pasta has sauce that is a close relationship to ketchup IMHO.

I don't like ketchup, but it's basically just a seasoned tomato paste and vinegar sauce, so I can't see why it'd be abnormal on pasta.

This reminds me of sketti, the butter and ketchup spaghetti Honey Boo Boo ate.

Well basically that is what you get if you order anything Italian in a California restaurant. They have no idea what Italian cuisine is out here. Even in the restaurants that claim to be Italian.

While ketchup does add extra calories and sugar to the equation, if you enjoy it, then keep eating it. Normal.
