Is it normal to check after a friend with whom you travel?

If you travel with a friend or an acquaintance by plane, you are sitting next to each other, after the flight is over he stands up first and heads to the aisle and before going after him you check not only yours, but also his seat pocket for forgotten personal belongings (with the intent to give him back whatever he forgot there of course), is it normal or it's creepy?

    yall should carry a big ole dildo and slip it into the seat pocket then make a big showa pullin it out and wavin it around yellin after em that they forgot somethin
