Is it normal to breathe smoke w/o smoking?

So sometimes when I go out camping with my family, we'll roast marshmallows at night. I like setting them on fire, blowing the fire out, and then eating the burnt marshmallows. Whenever I do this, I exhale smoke for about a minute until I eat another one. This also happens when I eat any other hot food while camping. Is that normal? I don't smoke and don't even plan to.

Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

It somehow reminds me of these vapes which have 0% nicotine and yet people still use them with enjoyment because of the taste and sensation. I don't know if it is normal but it is a thing.

  • I'm no scientist, but it makes sense to me if you eat something smoldering with smoke inside of it that that smoke would leave your body through your breath
