Is it normal to be turned on by nostalgia?

So, for context, I used to always listen to Boy Bands and Girl Groups growing up. Recently, I found a new {or newer?} Korean Girl Group. The song I found had a really nice animated video and is a major nostalgic trip for me. However, it also seems to be turning me on for some reason. I don’t think it’s their voices, as they aren’t that different from any Girl Group I listened to growing up. I’m willing to believe it’s not from nostalgia, but while the animation was good it’s nothing I usually find sexy. Can one have a strange turn-on like nostalgia?

Nostalgia makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside. What a strange and unique feeling, isn't it?

I kind of get what you mean. It doesn't turn me on but nostalgia releases all sorts of feels. Powerful stuff, emotion.

Nostalgia for me is 80s, 90s music, because I'm a Generation-Xer. I have never been into "boy bands", or "girl groups", or whatever for the most part. I like artists who play instruments for the most part over prefabricated groups that were just put together by record companies to make money.
