I've been wanting to have a full blown orgasm for a while, without any help. Tonight I was about to have one, my body started to shake but I got nervous and stopped doing everything.
Don't be nervous, there is a reason that everybody is constantly chasing one, its wonderful!
a.: what do you mean with "without any help"
b.: are you male or female?
c.: why would you be nervours?(hence question b. as there may be different reasonings here).
I'd say just go for it either way. Why be afraid?
A. I mean without a vibrater or dildo, etc...
B. I'm female
C. I'm nervous because i don't know what's coming. What to expect, thay sort of thing.

Well, lets put it that way: You're missing out.
As a child, the first time you got to eat ice cream, you also didn't know what to expect. It was a bit weird, probably, usually food was warm, and this was so cold, but at the same time it was great :)
Technically, it's a series of convulsions in your body and an intense chemical reaction from your brain, that, all in all, generate a unique feeling. There's nothing to worry about, nothing to be afraid about, and i can only give you the advice to go for it ^_^
If it's your first time, you may want to have a setting in which you are alone(e.g. at home), you may be more vocal than you'd expect(and you wouldn't want to worry about your volume the first times :) ) Note that you could also be an all-silent type, thats all fine, but hey, better to be on the safe side, right ;)
You shouldn't be nervous. There is no need to because it's the most natural thing ever.
You need to stop thinking about negative thoughts and concentrate fully on the feeling. Let the amazing feeling just take over you and flow with it. Block everything else out. Then you should orgasm :)
