Is it normal to be aroused semi easily in somewhat suggestive environments?

For me it happens a lot with men. If it's with women I'm in control and I don't get any rush. But with a man, if he's talking behind me and points to a monitor in front of me, or if I back into a man I've grinded my ass, moaned an "oh my God", even rubbed one guy's leg.

A granny at my morning job today tickled right at like the small of my back and I twerked for the first time in my life.

I just get these rushes of adrenaline and I really want to explore them. Unfortunately that's not an option, and as a result it comes out. Is it normal to experience this? Could it be annoying?

      Is it really dopamine? I get this sensation in the middle of my chest, it feels warm. I've attributed that feeling to adrenaline, I thought since my heart was racing pumping blood, which i can kink of feel like it skips a beat then comes back heavy, it was adrenaline.

      I think I've had dopamine rushes before, but not that like potent. And they were more along the crown of my skull.

        Adrenaline is more to do with activity, sports, fighting, fleeing.

        Dopamine is more to do with feeling good. Sexual activity and love are very strong dopamine reactions

          I mean I understand the text book definition. But the text book doesn't teach how it feels.

          Can dopamine affect the heart like that? Or perception of time? If it makes you hyper aware and makes time slow down then it really could be dopamine.

          I just thought adrenaline was more of a blood based chemical. I mean if I find myself in a situation that makes my heart race and I can feel the blood pumping, and adrenalin is passed through blood, seems logical that the two are connected, right?

          I mean like you said, fight or flight response is tied to adrenaline. This was more like a fuck or duck response though, lol.

            Yeah heightened dopamine can cause an increase in heart rate, slowed perception of time, decreased appetite, increased energy, euphoria etc.

            They are related and are both catecholamines

            Having looked into it further, i feel dumb cus apparently endorphins such as adrenaline are indeed released during sexual encounters as well as dopamine, so i guess both work lmao

              That's interesting, although not surprising. I don't think I can prove it with words or find evidence online, but I'd like to think that heart feeling is tied with adrenalin and the head feeling with dopamine.

              There are more chemicals, about five in total. I don't have the wisdom to attribute them to any sensation, but maybe with time.

              Have you sensed anything like that?

              I just realized there are times when my head feels light, but I'm not light headed, if that makes sense. Almost like for a moment my head is made of less dense material. The same spot I feel that adrenalin thing feels like as well, and almost feels like it's moving upward.

              This is usually in response to some act of (platonic) love, of which I'm sorely lacking. This feeling makes me want to smile and giggle, and one other thing...

              I can do it out of this moment, but if I'm in this state of mind then it's stronger; I can look into people's eyes, and I very well could be wrong and simply project what I want to see, but I can kind of see into their like, soul or inner light. I can feel their like, sincerity in making me feel that way. I kinda hope it's like that on the other side, for whoever is looking at me.

              This feeling actually is very potent, I just kinda didn't rationalize it until now. I really like this feeling too, and since it's love I feel so strongly with it, I think it's my dopamine system activating.

    They don't sound like "somewhat suggestive environments" to me, as both of them seem to be in your workplace.

    Time you found yourself some real sex and maybe then you'll be able to focus on your job.

      It mostly happens at work, I have two jobs. I don't have the resources for much beyond working and like daily chores.
