Is it normal to be a solipsist

I think I'm a God-like being, but not in its strictest meaning: I basically think the whole Universe is a figment of my imagination and that I'm the only conscious entity. Maybe there isn't even space or time outside of me, I consider the possibility that I'm everything that exists. Imagine a dimension in which... I'm the dimension itself.

Ps: I'm aware I might sound mental but I'm a completely normal person, just a solipsist haha.

How can you sound mental if you're the only thing that exists?

Assuming you're real in case you actually are, and not just a figment of my imagination, I wanted to inform you that I'm mentally healthy. LOL

Prove you are the only thing that exists in the universe by finding a structure your mind has generated that is at least 100 feet tall, climb to the top and jump off.

    You might prove your case.

Alternatively, you might rid the world of another self-centered ass.

It's possible that you suffer from a mental condition called psychosis, speaking in general psychiatric terms. Any other symptom beside the self notion of solipsism?

I'm replying through another account as I forgot my credentials.

No, I'm totally mentally healthy and I do not suffer from anything. I seeked professional help a few years ago because I thought it wasn't normal, but I wasn't diagnosed with anything at all. The only problem with me is that I have weird outloks on life.

I just googled the psychosis symptoms and I do not suffer from any of them.

Well, periods of extended isolation may predispose people to this condition. Is that a fact in your personal case?

Nope. I have a job, I interact with people every day, plus I have a group of friends with whom I hang out pretty much every weekend. Like I said, I'm 100% mentally healthy, and my life is 100% normal... nothing wrong with me at all.

But we can't all think the same thing.

I think either you have or if not should read Breakfast of Champions by Kurt Vonnegut.

In a way the universe doesn't exist without you there to witness it, so yeah it's a rational belief. What do you gain from it tho? If it was a true belief that you held you wouldn't bother engaging anyone else and you'd sink into your own mind. After all, what good are other peoples opinions if they are really just yours to begin with?

I think it's completely normal to question the origins of life/existence, and in doing so, to ponder a wide variety of possibilities. The people who don't care enough to question it are the ones that I worry about most...

Sometimes i worry that i'm just seeing a perversion of reality and in reality i'm just in a coma hearing what people around me are saying... So it's not that wierd i guess.

We talked about this in philosphy lol, there's no way to prove anything otherwise but it's not a healthy mindset since it can lead to disregard of other people.

Well, people have different outlooks on life. Feeling like a solipsist is a bit far off edge, but whatever.
