Is it normal to be a germanophile?
I always liked German culture, my brother Ashley is also a bit of a Germanophile. I like the music, we had German feasts, went to Hahndorf to try a German-style hotdog. The coffee I tried there was a Vienna coffee, also called a kapuziner (an Austrian cappuccino, that's hot coffee with whipped cream on the top). Even the sausage rolls with sausages in them (I tried a chilli cheese one) are sold in a cafe in Hahndorf. I'm not sure if it's German but it's better than a similar sausage roll called a Vili Dog. The result of our Germanophilia is that we have hamburger patties, Kranskis and sauerkraut. I even have German coffee called Melitta Blue Mountain Style. I like German electro music (Kraftwerk), and even the O-Bahn (in Australia they're not allowed to call it an Autobahn), I even think of being German when I'm in for a joke about my crazy accent (Italian, like in the cartoons), my favourite German food is, of course, the Black Forest cake, originally from the Black Forest, Germany. I noticed the Romans were also copying the Germans, I like the Yiddish culture (which is anti-German), but I like Neanderthals better (you guessed it, they're German!), is any of this normal?
