Is it normal the side of my knee started hurting for no reason?

I have pain in my knee right now but no known injury. Kinda feels like icing in teeth pain that comes and goes(often). Is my body just making pain for no reason?

Could be a muscle imbalance also. Your quads and hamstring muscles can be strong but the upper muscles by the hips and your ass muscle might be too weak and it gives ylu problems. I have this issue too and I use bands on my legs to fix it. It only takes a few days until its better
Thats what they taught me in physical therapy.

You know, it's funny, my knees started hurting in the past few days. First time in my life I've gotten knee pain, particularly the right one on the inside part. Weird. Where are you from?
    No injury, etc.

Womder if we both have COVID haha

    • I'm from Norway but don't see how that matters. Pain is currently over now

Knees can get injured in strange ways. I tripped over uneven concrete and didn’t fall, butI wound up going to the doctor the pain was so severe. He said I just twisted 1 of the side ligaments.
