Is it normal that my throat gurgles

After I eat my throat makes these weird gurgling sounds. I can't stop it and it is really awkward. It can be really loud and embarrassing. I was in class once and it happened and it was super loud. How can I stop this or make it quieter?

    GERD....AN acid reducing drug. should. slow it down. DON'T. EAT SO FAST
