Is it normal that my personality test results are always inconsistant.

The recent personality test poll got me thinking. Every time I take one of those, the answers vary. I always thought this would be true for everyone since the tests answers can change depending on mood or situation. I am now wondering if this is common or not. None of the descriptions ever fully fit me although I have traits of different ones. These labels don't make sense because you cannot categorize people into groups when everyone is different.

It might be your mood when you take them.

The only thing that's consistent is your spelling of the word consistent. Lol

I thought so too, but I've taken it 2 times, years apart, and still got the same result

The inconsistency isn't surprising. If I take a personality test when I'm feeling depressed, the results are going to be much different than when I take it at happier time in my life. And I don't feel the categories fully fit anyone, you just have tendencies that correspond more with one category than another.
