Is it normal that i wanted to buy nvidia tesla for this?

Had this ideation of buying as much NVIDIA Tesla graphics processors and hooking them up with a VGA card, 8800 Ultra for playing Crysis without single slow down and absolute highest settings , even with mods, but not only that my parents or i wouldn't have enough money to buy ONE of them but also tesla cards weren't meant for real-time, game-engines.

Is It Normal?

  • Seems like a lot of effort for one game

        • LOL, genius, yeah, when people bought the best possible hardware in 2007 and their FPS still dipped below 20 - 25 and others were like to him "Don't cry, sis"

    • yeah but 25 - 30 FPS was pretty retarded back then, so there was no standard solution.

    • You'll probably have to play 2004 - 2005 system requirement games and damn that would suck for me, but i suppose you probably have adjusted to it. And suddenly getting new spec hardware would probably blow you away.

        • I have to get a new game but newer games, i'll need to get an RTX series card, but if i think of 4k screen, i'll have to punch a massive hole for RTX 4090, definitely not going to be easy.

        • Doom Eternal is pretty good and fun , except if i don't go hard on myself with higher difficulty levels than the easiest as i'm not exactly a coordination prodigy.

    • Yeah, now it's pointless to complain since you easily can afford a gamning pc that runs Crysis 1080P, but significantly higher specs for Remastered Crysis 4K. But back then it was such a hassle that it was pretty much torture to play the game at 16-22 FPS, and 1920 * 1080 was absolute slideshow.
