Is it normal that i've never had yeast infection?

I'm a 25 year old female, and I keep reading about how common it is for women to have yeast infections. But I have never experienced this, is it normal? Thanks everyone.

It is not normal to have a infection caused by yeast. It is not unusual for most women to never have a yeast infection easily confirmed by asking your gynecologist. My present wife has never had one. She is a nurse, i'm a medical microbiologist. I'm the man that examines every woman's juices that comes to the hospital with a sick winky. My first wife never had one . OMG i just realized im a pussy expert. the infection is a common infection , that part is true. yeast are not bacteria they are Fungi and are treated with antifungals and do not contribute to resistance to antibiotics in bacterial infections .

It's more common in diabetics as their urine contains sugar yeast feasts on. My ex-gf had that problem.

But how will you ever get a bread in the oven without some yeast?

Some bread is made with yeast. However this is a different type of yeast than that of a yeast infection. This joke plays on the double meaning of the word, and in this specific context can make a logical statement 'how will you ever get a bread in the oven without some yeast?' become an absurd one.

Confusion may have arisen as the bread still could be put in the oven without yeast, and some breads do not require yeast. However I understood and appreciated the joke.

It should be noted that I along with my team will be conducting no further investigation on the matter.

I thank you both for your time.

You're either lucky, you know how to look after yourself or you've never had sex with someone who's passed it on to you from another partner.

Believe me, be grateful you haven't had one, they're no fun at all!

Oh PS, another reason might be that you haven't had to use antibiotics?

Oh, alright, well this makes me feel better haha, thank you.

And no, I have had to take antibiotics multiple times throughout my life, but only for flues/colds/ stuff like that

Why are you being prescribed antibiotics for colds and flu? It's been known for a long time they are no use for those conditions and over prescribing is creating superbugs which don't respond at all to anbibiotics.

Often a viral pneumonia(Flu) will resolve with favorable outcome but the damage to host defense invariably leads to secondary bacterial infection ,that most often kills the patient in the pre-antibiotic era. I want to draw your attention to the spanish flu of 1918. At that time in history a virus was not even in someone's imagination . While virus was causing disease no one knew of their existence. Flu is short for Influenza and Specialist of the day blamed the disease on the Bacterium Haemophilus influenzae the true killer in the Flue outbreak of 1918. This is why people get prescribed antibiotics. I do not prescribe , i advise doctors at big hospitals when to give what to whom so they leave via the front door and not the back. for i am a medical microbiologist.

It's not anything recent. It was many years ago I was just stating that the only antibiotics ive actually had to use throughout my life were those.

Sounds as if you're a very lucky woman to never have a yeast infection
