Is it normal that i stay up for most of the night on a regular basis?

I regularly stay awake for the majority of the night and have about 2-3 hours sleep. I do not feel tired during the day. I often find myself reading a book or watching YouTube until about 4-5 am only to wake up at 7:20 in the morning for the day.

I do it often enough, but there are days where I'll let my body "catch up" so to speak. I can get very little sleep for about three weeks or so before I need to catch up.

Eve if you say you're not tired but you yawn that means you are you faker, faking not being tired, I bet you yawn though! I never yawn throughout the day unless I missed 2or3 hours of sleep that day.

You're going to crash at some point. I was working non-stop, felt fine, got maybe 2 hours of sleep, usually in my home office desk chair, and thought, I'm fine.

Until stayed at my sister's house after a holiday dinner. She insisted, saw how tired I was, and pretty much led me to her guest bedroom. Last I remembered until late the next morning was her sitting with me and throwing her big, comfy robe over me (think I felt her long nails braise my face, too). I slept, solid, about 11 hours. Don't deny your body sleep. It will take it by itself.

I'm actually like this because I want to ensure everyone in the house is safe and sound asleep but I at least get about 9-10 hours of sleep.

This is kind of normal, especially if you're like between the age of 15-24. I guess you get some good sleep through the week. For all we know, you consume too much caffeine? Or, you may be one of the rare people that is a light sleeper. Yeah, some people only need 4 hrs of sleep. Not me, I am the classic 8hr sleeper. If you're in college, there's a lot of lively people wide awake past midnight.
