Is it normal that i somehow haven’t gotten pregnant?

I take birth control shots now, but in the past I haven’t.

And during that time, I was with an abusive guy who would force me into sex with him.

Anyways... he would ejaculate inside me many times even if I told him not too (he wouldn’t wear a condom and I didn’t even want sex in the first place)

But he has done it inside me many times, for months, and I never once got pregnant. And I had my regular period cycle during this. Sometimes it did come late and I’d get worried. But I was never pregnant or have gotten pregnant. Is there maybe something wrong with me? Can I not get pregnant?

I’m glad I haven’t, I didnt want a kid at that age. I was young and I still am young. But it really has me thinking though.

    Funny how women automatically assume “it’s us”. Old boy could be infertile or have a low sperm count.

    There is actually a really small window during which conception can take place. You only release an egg once in a cycle, and if there isn't sperm present at that time then there is no way for conception to happen. Once that egg is released, if the sperm isn't already present then you have missed your chance. Sperm can live up to 5 days inside you, but it's usually more like 3 days.

    All of this is assuming that you are both healthy and fertile. There is a huge list of things that could be affecting either one of you that means you would not conceive easily, or even at all.

    I wouldn't make any assumptions about either your or his fertility just based on this. If you are worried you can always go to see your doctor, although if you are young and healthy and haven't actively been trying to conceive for about a year or more then they are likely to tell you not to worry about it.

    people can have sex a bunch of times unprotected and not necessarily get/make someone pregnant.
