Is it normal that i refuse to talk about the deceased in past tense?

Ever since my grandmother passed on, and also since I had a crush on a deceased celebrity, I have refused to talk about the deceased in past tense. It just hurts too much. I refuse to talk about them as if they are gone and don't exist anymore and it honestly enrages me when someone is talking about someone (especially someone I know) who is passed on and they say "was" or "were" when talking about them. I can't even use the word "dead" or "died" when talking about someone I knew who has passed on. I like to believe that they still exist somewhere, like in heaven, and one day we'll all be reunited with our loved ones just as we remember them.

No that's not normal, death is a part of life.

You are only alive for such a small part of existance. That small part is your life that's why it should be cherished.

Normal to be hurt, but it’s unhealthy way to live this way [in denial].

Only you can decide when and how you should talk about tragedy in your life...

You have to process things and there will be a day that you can move on.

I wish you the best with this,

I dont get moarning over celebrity deaths. Are you sad the person is dead or are you sad that no more material will come from them?

            • No, Michael Jackson himself. Especially in the jackson five. Watching those old videos of him as a kid and he looked so sad I just wish I could have given him a childhood he deserves
