I feel hugely conflicted about online shopping.
On the one hand, I know it's playing havoc with real shops that provide employment to people and help create a vibrant urban atmosphere in towns. I also think that Amazon has become a monster, virtual monopolies are never a positive thing and the way Amazon employees are treated is often despicable.
On the other hand, I've always hated shopping, and the huge range of products available online and how easily you can research reviews - by both experts and ordinary consumers - while shopping is very appealing. My wardrobe has always been pretty limited, but because I'm a tall guy, I used to have big problems finding clothes that fit. That's no longer the case, which eliminates one of life's little annoyances.
So, even though I despise myself a little for it, basically everything I buy apart from food is done online, and the vast majority of it is through Amazon.
