Is it normal that i love spoilers for movies and books?

Before watching a movie or reading a book, I always search spoilers to see if it's worth watching/reading. For me, bad plot is enough to refrain from watching/reading it, while ending doesn't matter.

I don't really mind spoilers, because I don't care so much about someone spoiling the ending.

It's about the journey not the ending. I quite frankly hate most horror movies because most of them just have a depressing ass ending. I like it when humanity wins or the protagonist wins. The heros journey is my bread and butter.

I used to be a big fan of horror movies, but not so much in the past ten years.

Me too, although I was a bit disappointed with Star Wars. I was promised a tale about a space hairdresser and a cowboy. The first guy has a mate with a fetish for covering himself with tinfoil and also a walking dustbin. The second has a mate who failed an audition for Planet of the Apes. They both fancy the same girl, one of them is her brother and they both have a dad who has turned into a BDSM robot.

All that made it sound like a much better romp than a mere retelling of World War II.

That sounds silly. You should try not spoiling a movie and then watching it.

I tried this hundreds of times, it always resulted in movies being extremely boring for me. As I said, spoilers are my way of checking if the movie is worth watching (especially when I'm going to buy/rent it). Also, when I know main plot and ending, I'm still interested in how it happened, what led to this, etc. (I made this post)
