Is it normal that i like tight spaces?

When I try to sleep, I try to put me in the tightest spot possible, (ie. against a wall) It's not that I have Agoraphobia (fear of large open spaces) I just think that tight spaces are more comfortable. But, the VERY weird thing is that I do the same in video games (ie. In Oblivion I like the attic of a tavern or a hotel, where I'm alone and nobody will bother me. BTW, when I do this, I feel more relexed and listen to the games awesome music). One last thing, I also like to do the thing with the video game at night (in the game and in real life).

I LOVE Oblivion!!!!!!! One of my all time favorites :) As for the tight spaces thing, I think its ok. I sometimes like it too but sometimes not, like if I can't get out of the small space

I love tight spaces. They make me feel really safe and comfortable. I always find the small, solitary spaces in games, too.

My brother and mom are like you. My dad and I think they are weird. Fortunately I don't sleep with any of them. Lol

Autistic just because you feel more comfortable sleeping in smaller places? Do you even know what Autism is!!!? LoL. Dont listen to that comment, you would KNOW if youre Autistic! Along with hundreds of other neurological & social symptoms. People amaze me sometimes, lol.

Im the same way (not the video game part). I just feel snuggly & comfy cozy in smaller spaces when sleeping. It relaxes me also. I dont know why it makes you feel that way, but Im normal...so it must be normal :) lol

It really depends for me. I find myself leaning towards closed spaces especially, if they are good for hiding, because I tend to find them comforting. On another hand, I do like space but if the space is so big that it's almost empty then I won't feel very comfortable. Perhaps, we like closed spaces because it reminds us of what life was like in the womb.

  • Except the video game part, this is really normal. Humans like the feel of tight spaces because it makes us feel safe. Babies like it because it reminds them of being in the womb.
