Lately I've been seeing news articles about the Just Stop Oil protests.

I'm sorry but I fucking hate these idiots, it stemmed from them throwing soup at a Van Gogh painting, throwing cake at a wax sculpture and gluing themselves to the fucking road where cars, buses and other vehicles drive in or them disrupting the highway.

How are we supposed to side with them if all they are going to do is to do some reckless shit?, endangering the safety of others and themselves for shock value and for an ounce of attention.

Not even arresting them will keep them away, they're like a plague a plague that won't go away.

I won't have any support for them and I'm very unapologetic.

    Bunch of retards... I would love to have been the pilot of one of the planes that had to land in Berlin, when they glued themselves to the runway.
    Stall an engine on purpose, declare an emergency, "Mayday, mayday! I'm losing altitude! Clear the runway!" and land on top of the protesters. With all 18 wheels, right on their heads! (A 747 has 18 wheels)
    Fucking scum!

    Just think for a moment about the flaw in their logic. So they want us to stop using fossil fuels and reduce emissions.
    And the best way to do that is to block important transport networks and keep vehicles idling, or planes circling (therefore INCREASING emissions and fuel consumption) to get their moronic message across... Also why more idle? Forget people who idle their car. Refrigerated trucks have an extra engine that drives the freezers. Buses need to idle, because without A/C, they quickly turn into hot greenhouses in the sun, or freezers when cold. And an average plane burns 1-4 liters of fuel every second!
    Keeping any of these vehicles running longer than they should is bad for everyone.

    How about planting some trees, doing a charity marathon, hosting a race for zero emission vehicles, everything productive that not only helps the environment, but also gives them good press! Oh right, to do any of these things you actually need a brain!

    Seriously, if I was in a museum and I saw two scrawny, vegany types try to glue themselves to a painting, or something, I'd tackle them, notify security and help them beat up the vandals and throw them out like bags of trash out the front door!

    I hate eco terrorists! I hate them!

      What I'd do is I'd have them sat on one of those torture chairs near surrounding them in fire with them screaming no or begging for mercy or even yet watch them get beaten up.

      I understand their cause but what I still will never side with is their tactics even if it wasn't reckless.

      Hell they're now trying to slash artworks inside museums now, thankfully police are getting involved with it as they should.

      By doing things that don't involve going around disrupting highways, destroying muesuem art or sitting on the road where cars drive.

      Like I said,

      There are plenty of ways to voice an opinion that doesn't involve these things.

      To me their tactics are very unnecessary and leads to fights.
